Scott Hodge

Senior Pastor

Scott is married to Susan (since 1985), and they have two children, Isaac and Zoe. He has been at St. Andrew Church of God since October of 2018. He came to South Carolina by way of West Virginia, and has been in preaching/pastoring ministry since 1999. He is a lifetime musician and is still very involved in the Worship music program here.

Scott received his Bachelors degree from Bluefield State College in Bluefiled, WV, and received his Masters degree from Anderson University School of Theology, Anderson, IN. He is ordained in the Church of God (Anderson, IN) with his credentials currently held by Carolina Ministries of the Church of God.

Scott grew up an “Army brat” and is a veteran of the US Army himself. He also grew up in a very musical family, and music continues to be a passion of his, especially music that connects us to God through worship. He loves woodworking, and camping with his family (if by camping you mean a very nice travel trailer sort of close to the woods, or the beach).

Emma Logan

Family Life Ministries Pastor

Emma serves in two roles at St. Andrew Church of God, Director/Pastor of all things to do with young families, and as our Youth Pastor. She has been attending St. Andrew Church of God since she was 14 and has very deep roots in the church and Red Hill community through many generations of her family. She is not just passionate about her childhood church, but also about her community as she serves others, and is even doing her part to make our community better by supporting and being very involved in local business.

Emma graduated from Presbyterian College in December of 2021 with a major in Psychology and a minor in Business Administration. Since graduating, she now lives full-time in Lee County, SC with her family.

Besides being very passionate about serving the children and youth of her church, Emma is also VERY passionate about University of South Carolina football. GO GAMECOCKS!!

Susan Hodge

Administrative Assistant

Susan was born and raised in Bluefield, VA and has been a part of the Church of God from infancy. She married Scott in 1985 (yeah, that guy at the top of the page), and they have two children, Isaac (born in 1997) and Zoe (born in 2007).

Susan has served the church as Administrative Assistant since July of 2020. Before moving to South Carolina in 2018, Susan was the Administrative Assistant for many years at the high school campus of Mercer Christian Academy in Princeton, WV. She comes from a family of bankers and accountants and fits perfectly in her current role at St. Andrew.

She loves reading, spending time creating in her craft room at home, growing flowers in her summer garden, and interior decorating. She also loves the Atlanta Braves!
